Sunday afternoon I started having a bit of a panic attack. Luckily, Sue was at my place and when I looked at her with wide eyes and said, “Can we go shoe shopping?” she quickly obliged.
I don’t know why, but just looking at shoes can help calm me.
We headed to a rather large local Marshall’s (and later TJ Maxx) and found the following gems that made me laugh, scratch my head, and make me forget temporarily about why my anxiety was running so high.
This is the perfect outfit for a cool night out in South Beach or for hunting Brucey the Fabulous Bear.
It’s a sneaker and a wedge and you don’t even have to tie them!

I’m particularly proud that we found those turquoise jeans to complete the ensemble.
I am a little sad that the picture of the studded peep-toe doesn’t quite capture the gold-glitter fabulousness. Sigh.

TJ Maxx by me… sometimes security tags the peep toes together IN THE FRONT… so how does one TRY THE HIDEOUS SHOES ON?!
