I love sending people mail. I love sending them little notes, treats, and little things or articles I think they’d like. I do this because I like getting snail mail.
Let’s be honest, who doesn’t like getting things in the mail that aren’t bills?
(BatGirl and I are single-handedly trying to support USPS I think sometimes.)
This means that when I see packs of cute cards? I have an almost compulsion to buy them…and because they come in packs of at least 6-8, I end up with a lot of fricken cards. Marshalls and Michael’s are dangerous places sometimes!
In an effort to get more people sending mail, to bring more smiles to more people’s faces and to help clean out my stash of stationary, I’ve put together give away packs of the cute cards you see in the photo and stamps to send them!
The packs have one of each of the 6 cards you see there and 6 Forever Stamps.
To get one of the packs, all you have to do is leave me a comment below telling me about the best piece of snail mail you’ve ever received and that you’d like to win it.
Want a second entry? Go to Baking in My Bathing Suit’s facebook page and like that and leave a note there that you did.
And the person who sends the most people to enter? They get a bonus of my choosing. If you’re sending people over, make sure they tell me who did it!
(This give away closes Friday Feb 3 when I go to bed.)
Who’s in?
(Please note that Marshalls, Michael’s and the USPS did not sponsor this post in any way. I paid for the cards and stamps out of my very own monies and they’ve never heard of me – unless they check their credit card processing! Then they’ve heard of me. Ha.)

The best piece of snail mail I’ve ever received? That’s tough. I’ve gotten diplomas, gifts and all kinds of money via snail mail.
The piece of mail to which I reacted most strongly? My divorce papers.
You know, I’m not really sure…I received my diploma and my car title when I paid off the first car I bought and I was proud of both of those…but…I still have a little note and a check my Dad sent me close to four years ago. I guess the best pieceS of snail mail I’ve gotten have been little hand written notes from the parents (they didn’t come often). {Although I would like to add short little notes from ladies in NY are also awesome to receive…even if I haven’t yet responded!}
The only snail mail I get are bills!
I feel like me commenting on this is just crazy, since I send and receive so much snail mail. So I’m not making a play for the stationary, but do want to comment. One of the strangest but funniest pieces of snail mail I ever got was a car part that my then boyfriend said he’s get me. He mailed it to me since he knew I could install it myself, with a note that said, “and you thought I forgot” It still cracks me up when I think about it.
